The federal government has declared a public holiday in Pakistan on September 29 to commemorate Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).

The Cabinet Division issued a notification stating, “…it is for general information that the Prime Minister is pleased to declare the 29th of September, 2023 (Friday) as a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (12th Rabiul Awwal 1445 A.H).”
Date History
Every year on 12 Rabi ul Awal, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is celebrated as Eid Miladun Nabi.
Every year, streets across the country are turned festive to commemorate the day with religious enthusiasm and fervour.
Several processions are also held in major cities throughout the country, with participants waving flags and chanting slogans to demonstrate their loyalty to Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
