Pakistan's challenge at the T20 World Cup against India

During the T20 World Cup between Pakistan and India, Pakistan found themselves in a tight spot. They needed to score 40 runs with only 36 balls left and seven wickets in hand.
Mohammad Rizwan, despite not doing so well at first, was still batting, which gave some hope to Pakistan. But then, Jasprit Bumrah, a player from India, bowled a perfect delivery that knocked down Rizwan’s stumps, making the Indian team very happy.

Rizwan realized how serious the situation was as he left the field. This moment changed the game’s momentum.

Although Pakistan had started their chase confidently, the required run rate became very high as the match progressed, making it much harder for them to win.

Pakistan got lucky with the coin toss, so they decided to bowl first on a cloudy day. Their fast bowlers used the weather to their advantage, causing chaos in India’s batting lineup, which collapsed with an over left.

At first, Pakistan’s openers, Rizwan and Babar, seemed to be doing well. But then the sun came out and dried the pitch, making it easier for India to bat. The Indian bowlers changed their strategy and made it harder for Rizwan and Babar to score.

Pakistan’s Middle Order Struggles in T20 World Cup

In the middle part of their innings, Pakistan had trouble batting. They didn’t score as fast as they did at the beginning. Rizwan slowed down, and Babar got out to Bumrah’s smart bowling.

The powerplay, which is important for starting well, ended with Pakistan having 35 runs for one wicket.

Pakistan usually starts slowly in the powerplay and tries to finish strongly later. This has worked well before. But this time, it didn’t work against India because their middle order couldn’t speed up the scoring.

The team has lots of problems, not just losing games. They struggle with coaches and plans. They didn’t prepare well for the tournament. The people in charge of Pakistan’s Cricket Board are also having problems.

Now, Pakistan has a tough task to reach the next round. They must win all their remaining games and score more than their opponents.

Even though they have issues, fans in Pakistan hope things will improve. But they need to fix the big problems to do better.
