Over Rs. 3 bn in taxes are regained via FBR from Oracle System Pakistan

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recouped taxes from Oracle System Pakistan Pvt Ltd. totaling more than 3 billion rupees.

According to sources, the Federal Excise Duty (FED) of Rs. 3.008 billion has been recovered from the corporation by the Large Tax Payer Office of the FBR.

To reach the previous reduced revenue target of Rs. 6100 billion, the tax department collected billions of rupees in taxes from businesses in the final quarter of the current fiscal year.

According to sources, the FBR has so far collected Rs. 600 billion in the current month of June.

In June, FBR is expected to collect Rs. 751 billion in taxes, compared to Rs. 5349 billion in the first eleven months of the current fiscal year.
