There is currently a feature in WhatsApp that allows you to log in from up to four devices at once while keeping everything in sync. However, another useful feature is on the horizon that will allow you to maintain many accounts on a single gadget.
No, this isn’t about using different versions of WhatsApp with different phone numbers. Instead, this revision will enable you to manage numerous accounts within a single app and switch seamlessly between them.
WABetaInfo, a blog that tracks new features in the app, discovered the update like it often does. This feature is currently only available on WhatsApp Business, but it will eventually make its way to other editions of the app.
You can use multiple Whatsapp accounts conveniently
The picture reveals that the app will soon support multiple accounts by providing a menu that allows instant switching between accounts. This feature is already included in numerous other popular social media apps including Instagram, Discord, and Telegram.
Until you sign out of that account, all new accounts you log into from that device will be shown there. People with only one device will now be able to use two distinct WhatsApp accounts for their personal and professional lives.
How the app will handle notifications from many accounts remains unknown. Whether or not a message will include a label showing which account it was sent from remains to be seen. As multi-account support for WhatsApp Business is still in beta, it will be some time before it is available to all users.
