Latest generation iPads of Apple are scheduled to be unveiled this week in a surprise announcement that was previously revealed.
According to a recent report, the iPad Pros will not be included in the event, which means we will not see the new M3 chip until later.
Apple to Introduce Three iPad Models This Week
According to Supercharged’s sources, Apple’s impending surprise event this week will include three iPad models.
The Cupertino behemoth is currently in contact with its media partners in preparation for the unveiling.
While the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro versions are expected to be released in 2024, the other iPad models that have yet to be updated include the new iPad Air, iPad mini 7, and the entry-level iPad.
Previous iPads Chipset
Given that the previous year’s iPad Air had an M1 chip, it’s safe to assume that its replacement will have the M2, with improved performance and battery life.
The iPad mini 7 could, on the other hand, acquire the A16 Bionic from the current generation iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
Apple’s new A17 Pro CPU is unlikely to be employed in low-cost smartphones, though it would have been lovely to see the gaming-capable SoC on a larger screen.
It is possible that the M3 SoC will also enable AAA titles, although this has to be seen.
iPad 6 Mini Issues
Apple should address the issue of sluggish and slow scrolling (jelly scrolling) on iPad 6 Mini devices.
It’s futile to discuss design because Apple hasn’t made any cosmetic modifications to its devices in a long time.
