On Friday, Syed Amin Ul Haque, the federal minister for information technology and telecommunications, was visited by Air Marshal Abbas Ghumman, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff NASTP. We spoke about IT-related issues and the planned National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) Sierra, Karachi, Center of Excellence for Gaming & Animation.

Air Marshal Ghumman informed the minister that the aerospace industry heavily uses gaming and animation technology for the creation of flight simulators, tactical simulators, and training.
He claimed that in order to create a thriving environment inside Sierra Park, the NASTP Sierra is providing preference to IT businesses operating in the gaming and animation industries.
The minister acknowledged the efforts put forward to create the Center of Excellence for Gaming & Animation at NASTP and assured them of the ministry’s complete support.
The creation of flight simulators, tactical simulators, and training uses gaming and animation technologies significantly, as Air Marshal Abbas Ghumman informed the minister.
He claimed that in order to create a thriving environment inside Sierra Park, the NASTP Sierra was providing preference to IT businesses operating in the gaming and animation industries.
