NADRA Teams Up With HEC to Launch Pakistan First National Bug Bounty Challenge

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched its first-ever National Bug Bounty Challenge 2026. This initiative is in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and PakCERT to strengthen Pakistan’s digital security and promote ethical hacking.

The program is open to students, ethical hackers, and cybersecurity professionals. Teams from universities and partner institutions across Pakistan can compete by identifying vulnerabilities in test environments and reporting them responsibly.

Competition Structure

Regional rounds began on 27 January 2026 at major universities including GIKI Swabi, NUST Islamabad, UET Lahore, NED University Karachi, and BUITEMS Quetta. The final round will be held at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad.
