My photo stream of apple will stop working on 26 july, 2023

With the Apple’s free service, “My Photo Stream,” you may sync your most recent 30 days’ worth of photos (up to 1,000 total) with your iOS device, Mac, or PC. It was released before iCloud Photos and has now been supplanted by that service.

Apple’s long-term goal is to transition all of its customers over to iCloud Photos from My Photo Stream. My Photo Stream will no longer accept new uploads as of June 26, 2023, however previously uploaded photos will stay in iCloud for the standard 30 days.

Photos in My Photo Stream will not be lost during the shutdown process since they are all backed up in their original format on at least one Apple device. Apple suggests that users who want their photos on a specific device store them to the device’s Photo Library by July 26.

The photos will be available on Apple’s iCloud

By opening Photos on an iPhone, navigating to the My Photo Stream album, choosing individual photos, and tapping the Share button, you can save images from your My Photo Stream to the Photos app’s Library. On a Mac, you’ll need to drag the photos from your My Photo Stream folder into your Library folder to complete the procedure.

Apple recommends enabling iCloud Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac so you can synchronise your media library. iOS 8.3 and later iPhones and iPads, as well as Macs running OS X Yosemite, are required to use iCloud Photos.
