Stock Price of Tesla

The stock price of Tesla increased by more than five percent on Monday. In the past, Musk has expressed his intention to manufacture these robots in large quantities at a cost that is lower than $20,000.

On the other hand, the tech tycoon has a documented history of setting lofty deadlines that have not always been delivered.

For instance, he forecasted that self-driving taxis would be available on the road by the year 2020. He showed off  the robotaxi on August 8th, but he decided to postpone its release the week before last.

Tesla’s Robotaxi

According to Elon Musk, the launch of Tesla’s robotaxi has been delayed. This information was confirmed by Musk.

He rationalized the decision by claiming that he wanted to highlight additional capabilities, but he did not specify a new launch date for the product.

This confirmation comes after a report from Bloomberg that stated the event would be moved to the month of October.

Musk has turned Tesla’s attention towards artificial intelligence, self-driving technologies, and robots in response to the slowdown in sales of electric vehicles that the business is experiencing.
