Multan Sultans’ Head Coach leaves PSL in the middle season

Multan Sultans' Head Coach leaves PSL in the middle of the season to attend the IPL Auction

Andy Flower, the head coach of the Multan Sultans, has come to India to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, which takes place in the middle of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Ahead of the 2018 IPL season, Flower was named head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants, a new IPL team.

Flower, on the other hand, is anticipated to return to the PSL in the Lahore leg of the tournament. Flower will be in the dugout for Multan Sultans in their encounter against Karachi Kings on February 16, according to the Multan Sultans camp.

They also stated that the head coach will be available virtually throughout Multan’s campaign within this time frame. Mushtaq Ahmed and Abdur Rehman will be in charge of the franchise while Flower is away.

Former Zimbabwe wicket-keeper batsman has arrived in India ahead of the blockbuster auction to strategize.

In PSL 7, the Multan Sultans have been in outstanding form. The defending champions are the only unbeaten team in the competition, having won their first four games. They appear to be on track to become the first team in PSL history to defend their title.

On February 5, the Janoobis will face Peshawar Zalmi at National Stadium Karachi in their next match. Multan will play their final PSL 7 match in Karachi before the competition moves to Lahore.
