With immediate effect from February 9, 2022, Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi (PAS) has taken the position of Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
He is a member of Pakistan’s 28th Common Civil Service and brings a wide range of experience to PITB.
He has served as Gilgit Baltistan’s Home Secretary and Commissioner of the Baltistan Division. During his time as Commissioner of the Lahore Division, he implemented a number of important measures aimed at enhancing public service performance.
In addition to serving as Secretary Food Punjab and Secretary WAPDA, he has worked in the Chief Minister’s Punjab Secretariat. Deputy Commissioner Chakwal, Gujrat, Skardu, and Lodhran were among his previous duties.
Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi holds a Master’s degree from Oxford University in the United Kingdom. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Lahore.
