During their annual Global Tech World event, Lenovo and Motorola unveiled an innovative concept phone with a flexible pOLED display.

Moreover, this unique device is extremely versatile, as it can be curved to fit around your wrist or stand independently like a tripod. Lenovo sees this concept phone as the starting point for a future hands-free user experience.

However, no specifics about this device have been released, we do know that it has a 6.9-inch diagonal screen with 1080p resolution. The design features prominent bezels and a fabric back.

To comfortably encircle your wrist, the phone can securely attach to a metal cuff, presumably using magnets.

Additionally, the user interface adapts to the orientation of the screen, providing a personalized experience.

User Experience

Motorola claims that wearing this flexible device on your wrist will provide a user experience similar to the Razr 40 Ultra, also known as the Razr+, which has a 3.6-inch cover screen capable of running full Android apps.

Additionally, Motorola demonstrated generative AI capabilities designed to take advantage of the concept phone’s unique form factor.

Wallpaper Customization

Users can customize their wallpaper and theme with MotoAI, which is built into the device.

However, this feature allows you to photograph an outfit, and MotoAI will generate images that can be used as your personalized wallpaper.

You can create a wallpaper to match your own clothes by taking a picture of your outfit, as shown in the image below.

Moreover, when it comes to generative AI, Motorola is not the only company that is incorporating it into its smartphones.

Google was the first to do so with the Pixel 8 series, and Samsung and Apple are expected to follow suit with their respective new software updates, iOS 18 and One UI 6.
