Metaverse training 6th batch of dubai customs officials

Dubai Customs has declared that it will include metaverse into its leadership development programs in an effort to improve trade operations and support the emirate’s economic aims.

Ahmad Mahboob Musabih, DG of Dubai Customs, is spearheading the effort to make Dubai a leader in the metaverse.

Metaverse training is a part of digitalizing Dubai vision

The company has begun offering training in the metaverse with the goal of digitizing processes and expanding revenue streams. The purpose of the course is to teach participants everything they can about the technology and how it can be used to enhance business processes.

The good and bad of implementing the technology in the customs sector is covered, along with the significance of doing so appropriately.

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s ‘Dubai Metaverse Strategy’ is broadly in line with the goals of Dubai Customs.

Training Future Customs Leaders

Modules include “Innovative Customs Management,” “Digitization of Customs Operations,” and “Agile Leadership,” and together they make up the Dubai Customs’ strategy plan for 2021–26.

The initiative is supported by the Human Resources Division’s Customs Leadership Development Center and the University of Dubai. The sixth cohort of this program has graduated, consisting of roughly 16 inspection managers. A total of 137 workers have been trained in the past five batches.
