It will now be simpler for users to make dynamic movies on the network thanks to upgrades from Meta that will add more Reels editing capabilities to Facebook Feed.

“Whether posting a video for friends and family to see, or trying to reach people who share similar interests, our video editing tools will make it possible for people to express themselves in new ways via Reels or long-form videos,” the company said in a blogpost on Monday.

Meta More Reels Tools

More clip editing options, such as video speed-up, reverse, and replacement clips, are being added by the company to the Feed.

Additionally, users will be able to mix the appropriate audio into their film with the help of enhanced audio by investigating and including music and audio snippets, recording voiceovers, and minimizing unwanted noise.

High dynamic range (HDR) videos may now be uploaded from phones to Reels thanks to Meta.

“The Video tab, previously known as Facebook Watch, is now the one-stop shop for everything video on Facebook, including Reels, long-form and Live content,” the company said.

“The Video tab will look familiar– you can scroll vertically through a personalized feed that recommends all types of video content– but will also feature new horizontal-scroll reels sections that highlight recommended reels, so you can quickly jump into short-form video.”

Soon, users will be able to access Video from the shortcut bar. A revamped video Explore is also being rolled out to assist consumers in learning more about popular video themes. By tapping the search button in the Video tab, users can access Explore.

“We use a mix of human curation and machine learning to select topics and videos that are popular and surface the ones we think you will enjoy and find interesting,” Meta explained.

Additionally, Facebook users will no longer need to transfer between programs in order to view and comment on Instagram Reels that have been recommended to them on Facebook.
