The meeting between the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to explain and finalize the media and communication strategies for various IT sector initiatives was presided over by Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque on Friday.
The federal minister also talked about using social media effectively to publicize the projects that MoITT is having PITB carry out.
These significant initiatives are Crime Analytics and Smart Policing (CASPP) in Pakistan, National Incubation Center (NIC), and National Freelance Training Program (NFTP).
Senior representatives from both organizations attended the meeting, including Managing Director Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Osman Nasir, CEO Ignite Asim Hussian, Director IT-Operations Syed Qasim Afzal, Director Communication & Coordination PITB Hasnain Iqbal, and DG IT MoITT Junaid Imam.
