Malala to offer exclusive Oxford scholarship for Palestinians

Malala Yousafzai, who won a Nobel Prize, said she would give a special scholarship. It will help Palestinian students at the University of Oxford. Malala told people at a party in Oxford about it. Gaza has a big problem because of bombs that never stop.

The scholarship is part of a program called “Refugee Academic Futures.” It helps Palestinian students go to school at Oxford.

Malala talked about how the war hurt schools in Gaza. Over 80% of them and all of the colleges are broken.

Malala said, “This scholarship helps kids from Palestine.” She said we need to stop the war and help kids go to school. The goal is to help kids tell their stories and get money to go to school.

The scholarship lets kids from Palestine talk about their lives. The first student will start school at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, in October 2024. Oxford University will help kids from Palestine apply to school there.

Malala talked about stopping the war and giving kids help in Gaza. She said the Malala Fund gives a lot of money to help Palestine. They have already given more than $300,000.

Malala also talked about Gaza in British Vogue. She said, “This time is hard and scary. The pain of Palestinians is really bad. We need to see them as people.”
