Lenovo’s gaming division Legion recently held a latent launch event in China, showcasing its latest gaming-capable tablet, monitor, and laptop, the Legion Y9000X 2023, which is now available in China.
Lenovo Legion Y9000X
The Lenovo Legion Y9000X 2023 is equipped with a 16-inch PureSight Pro display with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels (3.2K). It has a refresh rate of 165Hz, full P3 color coverage, and a peak brightness of 430 nits.
Despite its premium features, this gaming laptop has a slim profile of only 17.6mm and a lightweight design weighing approximately 2.1 kg.
The Legion Y9000X 2023 is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor and either the Nvidia RTX 4060 or 4070 GPU. This makes it appropriate for modern AAA titles as well. In terms of memory and storage, the laptop has 32 GB DDR5-5200 RAM and super-fast 1 TB PCIe 4.0 storage.
The laptop has a new 90mm fan that effectively dissipates heat during intense gaming sessions. This aids in maintaining peak performance and preventing overheating and throttling. Lenovo has also made an investment in this model’s audio quality.
The Legion Y9000X 2023 is outfitted with a Harman-branded speaker system that is enhanced by SmartAMP technology. This setup ensures a powerful and immersive audio experience, whether you’re gaming or watching movies.
The laptop includes a 99.9 kWh battery with a fast charging capacity of up to 140W. Wi-Fi 6E support is included for connectivity.
The Legion Y9000X 2023 is available in two models: the base model with RTX 4060, which costs $1,811, and the high-end model with RTX 4070, which costs around $2,090 in China.
