Latest official dates of T20 World Cup semis

The T20 World Cup 2024 is almost over. From the initial 20 teams, just four remain. And they will compete in the semi-final on June 27 in the West Indies.

India In T20 World Cup Semifinal

India qualified for Monday’s T20 World Cup semifinal as the third team, after South Africa and England. In their last game, the Men in Blue defeated Australia by a score of 24 runs.

Afghanistan’s 1st Semi-Final

However, Afghanistan advanced to the final four of the event.

By defeating Bangladesh by 8 runs (DLS method) in the tournament’s final Super 8 match on Tuesday.

The team led by Rashid Khan has advanced to the World Cup semifinals for the first time ever.

Bangladesh chased 116 runs. Which was afterward brought down to 114 in 19 overs owing to rain, but were bowled out for 105 in 17.5 overs.

Opening batsman Litton Das went undefeated at 54 runs in 49 balls. And as Afghanistan recorded a historic victory, but he ran out of partners on the other end.

Rashid & Naveen 4-wickets Each

With the ball, Rashid and bowler Naveen-ul-Haq led the way, taking four wickets apiece. Rain repeatedly stopped the game in the second inning, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
