He claimed that early market closures amounted to economic murder of traders. He stated that no one will be allowed to carry out or accept economic murder of traders.
Earlier this month, the chief minister stated that smog has become a global issue, and his administration intends to deploy Chinese technology to eliminate it in Punjab, particularly in Lahore. Installing air purification towers in Lahore and other places will benefit from Chinese technology.
He also stated that air-purified towers will be constructed near border areas and industrial zones. These towers will also serve as flood warnings and other functions. To combat smog, the Punjab government has declared an environmental emergency.
