The plan includes the deployment of advanced drone cameras CCTV surveillance and police monitoring across the city. Deployment of Drone Cameras and Surveillance Systems
As part of the Basant safety arrangements advanced drones have been deployed at key locations throughout Lahore. Each city division is covered with multiple drone cameras including night vision capable units to monitor kite flying activities round the clock. Real time footage from these drones is relayed to control rooms to detect rule violations and respond immediately.

In addition to drones control rooms and on ground police teams will continuously monitor kite flying activities.
