According to sources, Nadeem Omar, the owner of Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), will work with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to promote cricket in the kingdom.

KSA Crown Prince Invited Nadeem Omar

According to sources, Nadeem Omar was given an invitation by KSA Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to a meeting where a contract for Saudi Arabia’s national cricket team will be inked.

The Saudi leader went with the PSL’s Gladiators, a team that has grown in prominence in the cricketing globe as a result of recent successful seasons, rather than approaching any other nation’s leagues.

According to sources, the Quetta Gladiators and the KSA government will sign an agreement tomorrow, June 16, under which Omar would lead the members of the Gladiators and Gulf country’s national squad.

Additionally, the franchise will serve as Saudi Arabia’s domestic cricket system.

Another factor contributing to the two countries’ relations being strengthened is this agreement.

Former cricket players consider Saudi Arabia’s selection of Pakistan’s Omar over well-known players to be an honor.
