The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched the Ehsaas Fuel Support Programme to provide financial relief amid rising petrol prices across the country. Under this scheme, eligible transport users such as motorcycle, scooter, and rickshaw owners will receive a monthly subsidy of Rs. 2,000 to help offset fuel costs and daily commuting expenses.
Who is Eligible for the Subsidy
To qualify for the monthly Rs. 2,000 support, the vehicle must be registered in the applicant’s own name. The ownership transfer must be fully completed vehicles still under someone else’s name or unregistered vehicles are not eligible for the programme.
Required Registration Method Dastak App
The provincial government has introduced a simple and transparent digital application system through the Dastak App. Applicants must download the app from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) to begin the process.
Step‑by‑Step Application Process
- Install the Dastak App from the store and create a user account with a valid mobile number.
- Enter your vehicle details: registration number and chassis number.
- Provide personal information including your full name, father’s name, CNIC number, registered mobile number, and district.
- Upload essential documents such as CNIC (front & back) and vehicle registration book or smart card.
Additional Document Requirements
In case the vehicle was bought from another person, applicants must also upload verification of ownership transfer, signed by both the seller and buyer. A clear photograph of the vehicle is also required.
Verification and Approval Process
After submitting the application in the Dastak App, the details are verified through the e‑Sahulat system and subsequently checked by the Excise & Taxation Office. If all information and documents are correct, the application is approved. Incorrect information or incomplete ownership transfer can lead to rejection.
Notification of Decision
Once the verification process is complete, applicants are notified about the status whether their Rs. 2,000 support is approved or rejected. The transparency in the process ensures that only eligible individuals benefit from the fuel support.
