King Charles III is snubbed by Prince Harry

Insiders say a furious Prince Harry turned down supper with King Charles III and his brother, the Prince of Wales, at Balmoral after a disagreement with his father when the new king forbade Meghan Markle from attending the grieving Royal Family on the day the Queen died.

The royal family rushed to the Scottish estate on September 8 to say their final goodbyes to their beloved mother and grandmother. The Duke of Sussex reportedly requested that his wife accompany them.

According to reports, the former Suits actress was invited, but Britain’s new King told his youngest son over the phone that it was “not appropriate” for her to attend.

The ensuing argument, in which Harry reportedly struggled to persuade his father to allow Meghan to accompany him, is said to have cost him the chance to say goodbye to William, their uncles Andrew and Edward, and the flight they were taking to Scotland.

The prince was so enraged that his wife had been barred from flying and that he had missed his first flight that he refused to dine with Charles, William, and Queen Consort Camilla that evening.

He and the duchess quit royal duties and left the UK for California two years ago, before making a series of shocking allegations against The Firm.

Instead, he dined with the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex before departing early the next morning, according to The Sun.

Following the death of the Queen, Harry and the rest of the Royal Family were forced to unexpectedly reunite.

Despite staying close to the Cambridges during their faux-royal tour of Europe until Her Majesty’s death, the Sussexes were not expected to see any royals on their trip to the UK and Europe. Their remarks following Megxit caused a schism among the royals, particularly William.

The couple has since joined other members of the Royal Family in more than a week of national mourning.

Harry took part in a number of processions and rituals as his grandmother’s casket was carried from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall and then to Westminster Abbey for her funeral. He walked both times behind the casket.
