Kia Pakistan has announced plans to close 4 dealerships across Pakistan, which is a fairly unexpected move. A news release issued on the company’s official social media accounts informed people of this.

The corporation that owns Kia in Pakistan, Lucky Motor Company (LMC), has not provided any details regarding its decision, merely stating that these dealerships’ operations have been suspended with immediate effect. the following dealerships:

The business also shut down its important Karachi location, Kia Motors Shahra-e-Faisal, a company-operated dealership, earlier this year. The reason given was that the lease with the property owner had expired and could not be renewed.

The business emphasized its presence in Pakistan’s major cities, where it has 35 dealerships spread across over 20 different locations to handle sales, service, and spare part support.

Kia’s footprint has been limited to 16 cities and over 30 dealerships as of the most recent release. To find out whether the decision was made owing to lackluster sales in those cities or for any other reasons, we will have to wait for an official comment from Kia.
