In the last 24 hours, the positive ratio in Karachi increased to 28.30 percent, while it remained at 100% in Hyderabad and Swabi, according to information provided by the sources.
Only one test was carried out in Swabi and Hyderabad during the past 24 hours, and it stayed positive.
Moreover, Peshawar had a Covid positive ratio of 14.29 percent, compared to 12.20 percent in Islamabad.
Covid-19 Cases Ratio in Other Parts of the Country
According to further sources, none of the major towns in the nation—Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Quetta, Abbottabad, Mardan, Banu, Swat, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Nowshera, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha—or any other recorded cases of Covid.
In the meantime, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) last week advised wearing masks in congested, cramped areas like hospitals.
Guidelines were published for the time frame up to April 30, 2023, according to NCOC, taking into account the nationwide Covid-19 trend at the time.
