Red Line BRT Project Completion Target

 University Road and Major Sections

Construction work is currently ongoing along University Road and major sections from Nipa Chowrangi to Federal Urdu University. These stretches have been partially closed to allow pipeline installation and other infrastructure work under the Karachi Water & Sewerage System Improvement Project (KWSSIP). Commuters continue to experience traffic disruptions and congestion, and authorities have set 30 December 2025 as the expected completion date for this roadwork.
