In order to provide superior medical facilities to the force’s employees and to assure their fitness by minimizing health-related hazards, the Islamabad Police created the “Capital Police e-Health System.” Under the direction of DIG Headquarters, the system’s pilot project was initiated. By December 31, 2022, it will be completely operational.
A police source informed APP on Friday that this system had been started in the police lines headquarters in Islamabad and that a record of everyone who lived there will be created. The e-health facility for the police force in Islamabad has been contracted with the Malaysian Al-Tirmidhi Foundation and is expected to be completely operational by the end of the year.
The Central Police Office, DIG Operations office, and SSG line will all have telehealth booths put up in the initial phase. According to the source, this system would be completely operational for all Islamabad police employees by December 31, 2022. In accordance with international norms, a tele-health system will be used to do medical exams and supply medications to active police officers under a new health care system.
