Infinix has released the Note 12i, a less expensive version of the Note 12. It is the immediate successor to the Note 11i, but it is not a significant upgrade. For the time being, the phone is only accessible in Kenya, but it will eventually be available in Pakistan.
Display and Design
The display is a 6.82-inch 90Hz IPS LCD with a 720p resolution.
The screen is slightly smaller than that of the Note 11i, and the resolution has been reduced from 1080p to 720p. The 90Hz refresh rate, on the other hand, is an improvement over the previous generation’s 60Hz.
Internal Components and Storage
The phone’s core CPU is a MediaTek Helio G85 with 4GB RAM that can be expanded by up to 3GB thanks to the virtual RAM functionality.
The storage capacity has been raised to 128GB, and the micro SD card port is still present.
The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 and XOS 10.6.
Cameras
The upgraded 50MP primary sensor in the Note 12i collects more light than the previous generation, resulting in better photos. This is coupled with a 2MP camera and a secondary QVGA lens. Like before, this camera can record 1080p and 2K videos.
The 8MP selfie camera is a step down from the vanilla Note 12 and 11i.
Pricing and Battery
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 18W rapid charging and comes with a charging brick. The Infinix Note 12i is priced at $175 in Kenya.
