India now considering help to Israel amid the Gaza genocide

India may be giving arms to Israel now. Israel fights against Gaza. Israel helped India in the 1999 Kargil War. India might now help Israel in return. This idea comes from Daniel Carmon. He was Israel’s ambassador to India.

Carmon talked to Ynetnews. He said Israel was one of the few to help India during the Kargil War. Israel gave weapons to India back then. Carmon served as ambassador from 2014 to 2018. He said Indians remember Israel’s help in the Kargil War. He thinks India may now help Israel.

India Today also reported on this. During the Kargil War, India got weapons from Israel. These included guided bombs and drones. Reports say India now sends drones and shells to Israel. Israel needs these for the war in Gaza. Their supplies are low due to the long battle.

In February, reports said Israel got Hermes 900 drones from India. These drones were made in Hyderabad, India. Israel set up a factory there for this purpose. About 20 drones were sent to Israel.

India has not confirmed or denied this. They have not commented on Carmon’s remarks either.

In May, Spain blocked a ship named ‘Marianne Danica’. This ship carried 27 tonnes of military equipment. It was going from Chennai to Israel. Spain stopped it because of its policy against arms to Israel.

Gaza Hospitals Struggle Amid Ongoing Attacks

In the war, Israel has killed many people in Gaza. Palestinian health authorities say around 37,600 people have died. Gaza is now in ruins. The fighting is in Rafah, near Egypt’s border. Many people from Gaza have moved there for safety.

Gaza’s health ministry says hospitals lack medicines and supplies. They need drugs for emergencies, surgeries, and intensive care. The shortage is due to the ongoing attacks. Israel controls the borders and targets health facilities.

The war started after October 7. Hamas fighters attacked southern Israel. They killed about 1,200 people. They took over 250 hostages. This information comes from Israeli sources.

India and Israel have a complex relationship. Past events shape their current actions. The situation remains tense and fluid. Both countries navigate their roles carefully.
