The cost of the Corolla Altis 1.8L CVT model has increased at the Pakistani Toyota automobile manufacturer, Indus Motor Company (IMC). Almost two weeks have passed since the Corolla 1.6L and Toyota Hilux Revo prices were raised by up to Rs. 700,000.
The Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8L CVT is currently offered at Rs 5,639,000, an increase of Rs 370,000. The company notification states:
“The volatile situation of Forex, increase in utilities and overheads have also impacted the cost of manufacturing for IMC. Thus, this situation has made it extremely difficult for IMC to hold the current retail selling prices, and therefore, we are compelled to pass on some impact to the market.”
The Corolla Altis 1.6L CVT’s price was raised by Rs 1.9 lac earlier in November, while the Altis 1.6 CVT U/price S’s was hiked by Rs 2.0 lac. Following that, these versions’ respective retail costs are PKR 49.79 lac and PKR 54.79 lac. Furthermore, up to Rs 7.0 lac extra was added to the cost of Toyota Hilux and Revo models. Revo E’s updated pricing is Rs 9,069,000, Revo G’s is Rs 9,839,000, and Revo G AT’s is Rs 10,309,000.
