In GITEX Global, over 80 Pakistani firms are participating

GITEX Global 2023, which is now taking place in Dubai, features a substantial representation of Pakistani enterprises and startups.

According to MoITT authorities, a total of 56 Pakistani enterprises and 30 startups are actively participating in this high-profile event.

Officially, 26 Pakistani companies are participating, but 29 IT companies are participating privately.

Dr. Umar Saif, the Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications, has also traveled to Dubai to represent Pakistan at GITEX.

Officials from the Ministry of IT, Ignite, and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) are accompanying him, as is the Federal Minister responsible for IT.

These Pakistani companies are creating waves in a variety of disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Metaverse, Agritech, and Edtech, demonstrating their technological capabilities.

The Pakistan Pavilion inaugurated by the Caretaker Minister, signifying the country’s presence at GITEX Global.

During a conversation, Zohaib Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), said that around 80 Pakistani enterprises, startups, and a large number of delegates from Pakistan are actively participating in this event.

He also stressed the relevance of Tech Destination Pakistan Connexxion Lounge, a key component of GITEX Global 2023.

Pakistan is presenting itself as a vital player on the global tech stage at GITEX Global 2023, with such significant representation and a strong focus on cutting-edge technology.

The event is intended to stimulate collaboration, creativity, and to highlight Pakistan’s technological capabilities.
