In advance of the second England Test, Ramiz Raja makes a bold claim

A bold statement has been made by Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ahead of the second of three Test matches that will begin on December 9 at Multan Cricket Stadium.

Ramiz Raja announced that Pakistan’s cricket team would play England in Multan while addressing at a banquet thrown by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for cricket teams. In Multan, a fresh cricket will be observed.

Ramiz Raja received harsh criticism for playing the first Test match in Rawalpindi on a lifeless pitch, which allowed the visitors to score a record-breaking 506 runs on the first day.

Ramiz highlighted his displeasure with the pitch by stating that he was considering adopting drop-in pitches following the Australia tour due to the subpar quality of local pitches.

Ramiz praised England’s strategy for playing Test matches and said that Brendon McCullum deserved all the credit for the Ben Stokes-led team’s transition to aggressive cricket.

It is important to note that Ben Stokes declared innings when the lead reached 343 runs, which benefited him by allowing his bowlers to restrict the home team on the final day of the game.
