Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, among others, have not confirmed their participation in the third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting because China has already expressed opposition to holding the meeting in the internationally recognised disputed territory of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Starting on Monday, a three-day summit will take place in Srinagar, Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A few G20 countries are not attending the summit
The Indian Modi government has revealed that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have not confirmed their presence, implying that they, too, will miss the summit, as reported by the Hindu, an Indian daily.
According to a briefing given by Indian tourism minister Arvind Singh to the media in Delhi, only China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia had not confirmed their attendance at the G20 summit.
He mentioned that Egypt, one of the invited countries, had yet to sign up.
