Babar Azam, the all-format skipper of Pakistan, has slid to fourth position in the most current ICC T20I batting rankings, while Devon Conway, the opening batter for New Zealand, has climbed to third.
In the last game of the three-match T20I series against India at home, Devon Conway, who is in excellent form, hit 59 off 49 balls to assist his team record a respectable total of 160 runs. The first game of the series was abandoned without a ball being bowled, while the final game was a tie, giving India a 1-0 series victory.
With 788 points, the left-handed opener has moved up to third place in the T20I batting rankings, only behind Mohammad Rizwan and Suryakumar Yadav, who have 890 and 836 points, respectively.
While Babar Azam, who scored 124 runs in seven innings during the just ended T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, had a fairly dismal performance, he has climbed up to fourth position with 778 points.
