The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named the 20 match officials for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 League Round in India.

The 13th edition of the competition will be officiated by sixteen umpires.

Including all 12 members of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and four members of the ICC Emerging Umpire Panel, who are as follows:

Three of the four umpires nominated for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 final at Lord’s – Dharmasena, Erasmus, and Tucker.

They are on the experienced list, with only Aleem Dar missing, who stepped down from the Elite Panel.

Emirates ICC Elite Panel

Former international cricketers Jeff Crowe, Andy Pycroft, Richie Richardson, and Javagal Srinath.

They will represent the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees at the event.

Srinath will take control of the tournament opener on 5 October in Ahmedabad.

He was between the last event’s finalists, England and New Zealand.

Standing umpires will be Menon and Dharmasena, with Paul Wilson serving as TV umpire.

While the Saikat will be serving as fourth umpire.

The officials have been named for the whole League portion, with the semi-finals and final of the event to be announced in due course.
