Twitter Blue is the brand-new service launched by billionaire Elon Musk, who just purchased the social media platform, and requires verified Twitter users to pay $7.99 a month in exchange for the coveted blue tick.
Twitter Blue is a contentious concept since many people believe that the blue check mark indicates a dependable source of authority rather than having to pay a fee each month.
The blue tick is now free for accounts that meet specific requirements (for example, the user must be a high-profile individual, corporation, or voice of authority), but Musk said the premium membership will be made accessible in a few nations after Tuesday’s mid-term elections. After that, the service will be made available to all Twitter users worldwide.
Those opposed to the new project claim that it would favour wealthy individuals with verified accounts over reliable or reputable sources.
Musk said on November 5 that at $8 per month, Twitter Blue subscribers “get a lot more than simply a blue check mark.”

How Can I Get Twitter Verified Blue Check?
On November 5, a new version of Twitter for iOS with the new subscription-based verification model at $7.99 per month was made available.
However, not all locations have access to the function currently. According to a press release from Twitter, Twitter Blue with verification is presently accessible on iOS in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States.
If they have the money and the want to pay the monthly membership cost, anyone may get Twitter Blue. You are no longer need to be a celebrity, well-known official figure, politician, or journalist in order to get certified.
What Happens to Blue Tick Accounts If They Don’t Pay $8?
If users with blue tick accounts refuse to pay the $7.99 membership price, their verification will be removed.
Users who have already been verified are still able to use Twitter without having to pay the price, but they will not have the blue tick next to their name or the advantages that come with it.
