How to download & use ChatGPT app on Android in 3 easy steps

OpenAI, the firm responsible for making the popular chatbot ChatGPT, released an iOS version in May. The business announced the upcoming availability of the app for Android at the time of the iOS app’s debut. The business tweeted last week that it would be expanding the distribution to new countries over the course of the coming week.

Functions of the ChatGPT app on Android

According to the official Google Play description, the latest enhancements from OpenAI are included in the Android app for ChatGPT, and your history can be synchronised between devices. The software will provide users with quick solutions, personalised recommendations, fresh ideas, expert feedback, and more. Smartphones running Android 6.0 or later are supported by the app.

Where to find the app and how to install it

Those who missed the pre-registration window can still grab the app from the Google Play store; it weighs in at a compact 6MB. Users who pre-registered, however, will simply need to grab a minor update from the shop.

  1. Find the ChatGPT app by searching for it in the Google Play store.
  2. Second, select the setup button.
  3. Next, the programme will prompt the user to log in with their Google account information.

After this is done, the app will have the same functionality as the desktop version of ChatGPT.
