Honor X40 series will be available on September 15th

The Honor X40 series will be available in China on September 15, according to the company’s announcement on Tuesday.

Aside from the launch date, the company has yet to reveal additional information about the upcoming smartphones, such as specifications and pricing.

The Honor X30 Max and Honor X30i, both powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoCs, were released in October of last year.

The Honor X30 Max, as previously stated, has a 7.09-inch display with full-HD+ resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a water drop-style notch to house the selfie camera.

The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer announced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo that the Honor X40 series will be released in China on September 15.

Honor’s teaser poster suggests that the Honor X40 series may include 5G connectivity. The Honor X40 series’ upcoming smartphone handsets will not be priced yet, according to the company.

In October 2021, the company released the Honor X30 Max and Honor X30i smartphones in China.

The Honor X30 Max features a 7.09-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,280 pixel) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a water drop-style notch. The phone is equipped with an octa-core MeidaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and 8GB of RAM.

It has a dual-camera setup on the back with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging.
