In terms of production and sales, Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) is having a terrible year. Due to supply chain issues caused by import restrictions, the company’s output has been abysmal for the past three months. To make matters worse, its automobiles are exorbitantly priced.

Honda’s terrible sales year

HND, which is supposed to be one of Pakistan’s largest car companies in terms of production and sales volume, sold only 87 vehicles last month. For the third time in a row, sales of Civic, the company’s flagship sedan, were zero.

According to a recent announcement, Honda will soon resume production. The automaker cited a “slight improvement in the accessibility of trade financing facilities” as the catalyst for the restart of production. However, the exact date of production resumption is not specified.

According to a recent update from Autojournal.pk, the company has not produced any Civic units in the last three months. This implies that sales of the flagship sedan are likely to remain low for the foreseeable future.
