The company’s sub-brand CMF just released its first smartphone, and now Nothing is getting ready to release an improved version of its famous mid-range device.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus
July 31 is the day that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be released.
The slogan “Plus. More. Extra” has been used by the company to tease the phone, but it’s still not clear what the changes are.
An improvement that the Nothing Phone (2a) could use is to be more widely available.
Currently only available through a developer programme, the original 2a model has not yet debuted on US markets.
For many customers, increased accessibility for the Plus model would be much welcomed.
In order to generate excitement for the forthcoming Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, Nothing has been teasing an image that features grooves that are not quite clear.
These grooves resemble the wireless charging coil included in the higher-end Nothing Phone (2). A capability lacking in the 2a model. The image might subtly suggest wireless charging features for the Plus model.
Original Nothing Phone (2a)
The original Nothing Phone (2a) has gotten little changes since its March release; just a new Blue colour option debuted in April.
On the flagship Nothing Phone (3), enthusiasts will have to wait until 2025 for its introduction; although it is noteworthy that Nothing as of yet has no official statement on a launch date.
The CMF Phone 1, which has a replaceable back panel to change colours, is the newest model; users may also fasten a lanyard, a kickstand, or a magnetic card holder that clips to the back.
