Students take the UAT after intermediate school. The test will be in July. Students can apply on the Higher Education Commission website. The last day to apply is June 30.

Higher Education Commission says the test is fair for all students. They want the same standards for everyone. The test helps students get a fair chance. Everyone can try for higher education.

HEC Warns Against Two-Year Degree Programs

The Higher Education Commission warned students on Sunday. They should avoid two-year programs. HEC phased out these programs in 2019.

The alert appeared on the Higher Education Commission’s Instagram account. It said two-year BA, BSc, MA, and MSc programs ended in 2019. The final deadline was June 30, 2022.

Some schools still admit students to these programs. They do this after the deadline. The Higher Education Commission told schools to stop.

The Higher Education Commission urged students and parents to stay away. These degrees are not valid. HEC will not recognize them. They will not attest them.

Higher Education Commission’s decision to stop these programs came in 2004. They wanted better degree quality. They wanted to match international standards. Schools had until 2016 to stop offering these programs.

Higher Education Commission allowed new two-year associate degrees instead. These replaced BA and BSc degrees. They equal 14 years of education. After finishing, students can join the fifth semester of a four-year BS program.
