The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made the announcement on Saturday that its flight operations for the Hajj this year will begin on May 21 and continue until August 2.
During the Hajj operations, flights departing from various cities in Pakistan to travel to Jeddah and Madinah would be serviced by Boeing-777 and Airbus A-320 aircraft, according to a spokeswoman for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has made the decision to maintain the practice that it began the previous year of billing pilgrims participating in the private scheme for the cost of their travel in US dollars.
Cost of Hajj For 2023
The cost of airfare for pilgrims coming from the Southern region or the Northern region will be between $870 and $1,180 or $910 and $1,220, respectively.
According to the spokeswoman, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will be responsible for making an announcement regarding the final flight cost for pilgrims participating in the government-sponsored Hajj program.
According to the reports, the fee is projected to be in the range of Rs. 310,000 to Rs. 330,000, and the whole cost is anticipated to rise to Rs. 1.25 million this year.
