Hackers stole Rs5.8 million from NBP ATM

In Punjab’s Hafizabad district, a group of hackers stole about Rs. 5.8 million from an ATM at a National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) branch in Pindi Bhattian.

According to facts, the hackers used a gadget to break into an ATM tray containing banknotes worth Rs. 5000 and removed the entire tray with them.

Security guards reportedly hurried to the ATM booth as soon as the warning was transmitted from the ATM to the bank’s main office when it was hacked, according to the bank manager.

The fraudsters, however, were able to flee before the guards could reach the ATM.
