In order to shield the population from the effects of inflation, the government has brought down the the price of edible oil by 76 rupees per kilogram and price of ghee by 69 rupees per kilogram.
This aid will reportedly be distributed to the general public of Pakistan through the country’s network of Utility Stores, as stated by the Ministry of Finance. The new prices will become effective as of today, which is a Friday.
The subsidized oil can be purchased for low price
The cost of one kilogramm of subsidized ghee can be purchased for 490 rupees. Everyone who shops at Utility Stores, as well as the economically disadvantaged members of society, can breathe a sigh of relief now that prices have been lowered.
