The Government of Sindh has officially announced new office timings for the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 A.H. These timings will apply to all provincial government offices across Sindh. The decision is made to facilitate employees who observe fasting during Ramadan, allowing them to manage work and religious duties comfortably.

According to the official notification No. SO(CTC)SGA&CD/3(27)/2011, the revised schedule will be followed by offices working on both 5-day and 6-day weekly systems. The new working hours aim to reduce fatigue and help staff maintain productivity during fasting hours.
Office Timings for 5 Days a Week
Government offices that operate five days a week will follow a slightly longer schedule from Monday to Thursday, while Friday will have shorter hours due to Jummah prayers.
Monday to Thursday, the timings are from 10:00 am to 04:00 p.m.
On Friday, offices will remain open from 10:00 am to 01:00 p.m.
Office Timings for 6 Days a Week
For offices that operate six days a week, including Saturday, the schedule is adjusted accordingly.
From Monday to Thursday and Saturday, working hours will be from 10:00 am to 03:00 p.m.
On Friday, timings will be from 10:00 am to 01:00 p.m.

These timings will apply to all Government Offices, Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations, and Local Councils under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh, except for essential services. Essential departments will continue to follow their own duty schedules to ensure public services remain uninterrupted.
