Google’s recent I/O conference revealed its latest truly wireless (TWS) buds as well as the Pixel 6a, the company’s latest mid-range phone. The Pixel 7 series, Google’s future flagship phone for the year, was also teased at the event.
The search engine giant has already shown us what the Pixel 7 will look like through official images. Pixel 7 is keeping the “visor” camera design, but the camera strip now has a polished aluminum finish with separate cutouts for different lenses.
The visor runs right into the frame on both sides which gives it a more integrated look. The Pixel 7 has two rear cameras, while the Pixel 7 Pro has three, like it did last year. There are currently no details available about these cameras.
Google also teased Pixel Watch, which will be the company’s first smartwatch developed from the ground up.
The watch has a circular dial with curved glass on top, giving it a domed appearance, just as the leaks indicated. Fitbit integration will be included because Google now owns Fitbit.
We may anticipate a wide range of fitness tracking and health monitoring functions, including heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and others.
A new Google Home app for Wear OS will also make it easier to operate connected devices from your watch. Last but not least, Google has introduced the Pixel Tablet, which will be available next year.
It will be powered by Google’s Tensor chip and will include a single front and back camera. According to Google, it is intended to be the most useful tablet in the world. The Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch are slated to launch later this year, but the Pixel Tablet will not be available until 2023.
