Although the Google Pixel Fold has been formally unveiled, buyers won’t be able to purchase one until the following month.
However, it appears like Google is looking into various form factors in addition to folding devices in the tablet design.
George Hwang, the product manager for the Google Pixel, met with Tom’s Guide at Google I/O 2023 and provided viewpoints from the company.
In response to a question regarding flip foldables, Hwang disclosed that the team is actively investigating “different types of devices” and “different types of technologies.”
This suggests that Google is willing to broaden its product range beyond the conventional foldable form factor, pointing in a positive direction for its upcoming product offers.
The fact that Google is open to investigating other foldable smartphones in the future should not be interpreted as a solid indication of an impending Pixel Flip that will be comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 or the Motorola Razr 2022.

It does, however, suggest that Google is open to the notion of releasing other foldable smartphones in the future.
Focus of Google Right Now About Pixel Fold
Hwang emphasized during the interview that the Google team’s top focus right now is making sure that the Pixel Fold offers a superior user experience.
As Hwang pointed out, this includes a variety of facets, from design to app integration to camera performance.
In order to produce a top-tier folding smartphone, Google is committed to optimizing every aspect of the Pixel Fold to make it the best it can be.
