GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology exhibition, opened this week in Dubai to a record-breaking worldwide response in its first three days.

Moreover, its massive scale in 2023 was augmented by the announcement that the big tech and start-up event will open in Europe, spearheading the global tech community’s international market expansion drive.

GITEX Europe 2025 Announcement at GITEX Global 2023

GITEX Europe 2025 was announced today (18 October) at a signing ceremony at the 43rd GITEX Global, which this year exceeded capacity at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), where it will take place from 16-20 October 2023, with 6,000 exhibitors and 180,000-plus attendees from 180 countries.

The world’s most trusted iconic tech event brand GITEX, will now construct a super corridor to connect international tech leaders with heightened commercial and research development prospects in the world’s most sought-after digital economy.

Moreover, GITEX Europe is organized by KAOUN International, the worldwide affiliate of DWTC, which organizes GITEX Global, in collaboration with Messe Berlin, where the mega-event will premiere from May 21-23, 2025.

However, GITEX Europe is the powerhouse GITEX brand’s second international effort, following the historic premiere of GITEX AFRICA Morocco in May 2023, which was independently certified as the world’s best tech event launch.

Additionally, GITEX Global is currently the powerful nexus spanning the future of economies in Dubai, Africa, and now Europe, thanks to smooth exploratory missions in the world’s most active climbing markets.

Official Signing Ceremony of GITEX Europe 2025

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy; and Franziska Giffey, Vice Mayor of Berlin and State Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Enterprises, attended the official signing ceremony of the launch between KAOUN International and Messe Berlin.

“Berlin is a natural partner and twin to Dubai,” H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama said.

Senator Franziska Giffey said, “Going to Berlin proves that we are able to take the best and the brightest minds from the region to Europe and also bring them back to Dubai.

This is a continuous momentum that started with GITEX AFRICA and we’re hoping to make GITEX Europe the most successful tech event in the continent.”

Boost Economy of Germany

The increased international demand for GITEX to extend engagements and explore new markets prompted the establishment of GITEX Europe 2025 in Germany, Europe’s largest economy.

It is with the goal of accelerating future economies through a digital transformation vision centered on talent development, innovation, and purpose-driven, public-private-partnership (PPP) tech investment.
