Ghee price hike in utility stores after sugar price increase

The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has announced a price rise for ghee, following a similar price increase for sugar a few days earlier.

According to the information provided, the price of ghee has increased by Rs. 25 per kilogramme. Ghee, which was formerly accessible for Rs. 398 per kilogramme for regular consumers, will now be supplied for Rs. The new pricing will go into effect as of today, per the USC announcement.

Ghee price raise

It is worth noting that USC recently raised the price of ghee for participants in the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). Ghee for BISP recipients went risen in price from Rs. 300 per kilogramme to Rs. 353.
