Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phones might have the most sales among foldable phones, but they continuously lag behind in terms of ugly display folds. This issue may be resolved with the future Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is set to be released with the Z Fold 6 in July of this year.

And reports indicate that the foldable will use thicker Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) this time.

This ought to reduce the screen crease around the centre, helping Samsung to compete with peers who all have reduced display creases.

UTG thickness

the UTG thickness of the Flip 6 will be around 50μm, up from 30μm for the Flip 5. Also, next Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumoured to have a new hinge design that will further lessen the crease.

According to rumours, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lineup will soon include new models such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE.

As the name implies, the FE model will be a less expensive version of the normal Z Fold 6. If the reports are true, the Z Fold 6 Ultra will likely cost around $2000.
